learning DAILY

Revelation 19: 11-16, “Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse.  And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.  His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns.  He had a name written that no one knew except Himself.  He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.  And the armies in heaven, clothed in the fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.  Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations.  And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron.  He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.  And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:

KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”

There is more to the description of the Commander from heaven.  His weapon of choice is a sharp sword that comes from His mouth.  Think back to the armor of God and remember Believers have a sword to use in spiritual warfare - the Word of God.  The Word of God is used to execute judgment on those who have denied Him as Lord as He strikes the nations who have joined the Antichrist in His efforts to destroy Israel.  The Lord then rules with an iron rod which symbolizes His absolute, righteous reign.  Do you remember what the devil came to do?  He came to rob, steal, and destroy.  The Lord Jesus Christ will not allow this to ever happen again because of His righteousness.

On His thigh is written the third name for the Commander in this passage; He is the KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS!  The robe symbolizes His majesty and the thigh symbolizes power.  There will be no doubt who this Commander is; He is the Sovereign ruler of the earth!

Psalm 22:27,28 are only a few verses of the many verses that tell of this time.  “All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall worship before You.  For the kingdom is the Lord’s, and He rules over the nations.”

The question of who is king is now answered.  Every king and lord will bow when Jesus returns to put down the rebellion that has been occurring on earth since Adam and Eve.  Philippians 2: 9-11 prophetically states, “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”  Now this will be done.

My choice is to bow as His follower and as part of His army!  What about you?
