Leviticus 19:11, You shall not steal, nor deal falsely, nor lie to one another.

 

Colossians 3:9-10, Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him,

 

It is obvious that God does not want us to lie. Check out the ninth commandment! Why do people lie? They lie to get their own way. They lie to try to escape punishment from wrong doing (Boy do I have stories from school about that!). They lie to get someone to believe some thought they want you to believe. Lies come from the great deceiver, the devil, himself. His greatest lie is always to get someone to believe God never said something or that He really did not mean what He said.

 

Adolph Hither was a liar. He believed he could tell lies to the German people about everything and they would believe and follow him. Guess what – he was right. In fact, the bigger the lie, the more believable it became. Sadly, people in Germany bought into the lies and there were not enough who either did not distinguish between truth and the lies or they did not want to. Afterall, Hitler was bringing back prosperity and economic renewal.

 

The communist party under Lenin did the same thing after the revolution of 1917. To validate and extend their power over the people of Russia, they were fed lie after lie. They were fed a constant diet of lies until they did not know the difference between the lies they were hearing and the truth or they lacked the will to resist. All the time the communist party was consolidating their power over the people.

 

Do you see a pattern of socialist takeover? Lies, deception, and the use of fear is all apart of the tactics used to establish control over the people. The people in the United States and the rest of the world do not have to look too far to see this same old process happening to them. Powerful people are lying to us! They are causing fear to run rampant; they are doing everything in their power to keep fear motivating our actions. We see that spying has been determined to have happened with a presidential candidate and a sitting president. We are being told all sorts of things about covid 19 and its various offshoots. We are being told all sorts of things about our economy, about runaway inflation, about banks shutting down and it goes on and on.

 

Why is this happening? To me, it is about control. We have seen how easily people fell to the thinking that getting vaccinated and wearing masks would end the pandemic – Lie! We have been told spending trillions of dollars on a progressive agenda is just what we need to end all injustice, inequality, and every problem we are facing – Lie! It is pretty easy to see how people will run to take a mark that says they belong to the Antichrist during the Tribulation – fear and lies! We are living in a world that is on a fast track to a one world government, one world economy; all led by a very evil dictator empowered by Satan, the father of lies. There are leaders around the world, including the United States president who are doing all they can to promote this. I suggest that each of you get a copy of Glenn Beck’s new book The Great Reset as he gives a tremendous amount of information about what is happening right now to bring all this about.

 

This has all been told would happen in the Word of God. He has told of the deception of the end times, about one rising to a position where he declares himself to be God. He has told us a great apostacy or falling away from God would occur. Be alert! Be diligent to walk on the narrow way. Pray for greater discernment so that you know good from evil. Do not be deceived or fall into a trap of believing all you see in the news! This is a call to lift your eyes and heart to heaven in order to understand the time we live in and be thankful you are God’s and He will never leave or forsake you! Be encouraged that God loves you!
