Philippians 4:6, Be
anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with
thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God,
which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through
Christ Jesus.
Here is something
a little different to think about when being thankful in all circumstances. I
am not sure where I got it; I do not know who to give the credit to.

I am God.
Today I will be
handling all of your problems.
Please remember
that I do not need your help.
If life happens
to deliver you a situation that you cannot handle, do not attempt to resolve it.
Kindly put it in
the SFGTD (Something For God To Do) box.
It will be
addressed in My time, not yours.
Once the matter
is placed into the box, do not hold on to it.
If you find
yourself stuck in the traffic; don’t despair.
There are people
in this world for whom driving is an unheard of privilege.
Should you have a
bad day at work; think of the man who has been out of work for years.
Should you despair
over a relationship gone bad; think of the person who has never known what it
is like to love and be loved in return.
Should you grieve
the passing of another weekend; think of the woman in dire straits, working
twelve hours a day, seven days a week to feed her children.
Should your car
break down, leaving you miles away from assistance, think of the paraplegic who
would love the opportunity to take the walk.
Should you notice
new gray hair in the mirror; think of the chemo patient in chemo who wishes she
had hair to examine. Should you find yourself at a loss and pondering what life
is all about, asking what is my purpose?
Be thankful.
There are those
who did not live long enough to get the opportunity.
Should you find
yourself the victim of other people’s bitterness, ignorance, smallness or
insecurities; remember things could be worse.
You could be
them!
My intention was
to convey God will take care of all your problems as He knows best and when He
knows the timing is best. We can trust Him to handle all our problems and
circumstances.
There will be no
blog tomorrow or Friday. Enjoy family time, be thankful for all you have, and
give Him praise! Be careful out there when shopping for those specials!
Also, Charlotte
and I will be heading to Israel on Sunday with a whole lot of other people. We
will be gone for 10 days. I am sure the blog will be filled with insights from
that trip. That being said, there will be no blog for a while! Be diligent in
your faith and keep an ear open for that trumpet to sound calling to meet Jesus
in the clouds!
