LEARNING DAILY
I am sending the blog to each person I believe is getting the blog
directly sent to them by the blog email service. I have been notified that it will no longer
be sending the blog out. If you are getting
the blog two times, just ignore one of them; I am not certain who is getting
the blog through the email service. If
you do not want to receive it, send me an email and I will take you off my
list. Also, you might see it in a
different format. If you want to look at
previous pages, click on a month and you should see those pages archived from
that month. You will find this easier to
respond to me regarding the blog; all you have to do is reply
Revelation 12;7-9, And war broke out in heaven; Michael and his angels
fought with the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was
a place for them in heaven any longer.
So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil
and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to earth, and his angels
were cast out with him.
Satan has always wanted to possess all that God has created. In Isaiah 14:12-14, the result of his
rebellion is being cast out of heaven. Satan’s
rebellion began with self-worship and spread across the heavens. For some reason he has been allowed access to
the heaven where he daily accuses all Believers of their unworthiness to follow
the Lord. Thank goodness you and I have
an Advocate who reminds God the Father that we have placed our faith in Him;
therefore, we are no longer guilty!
The tribulation will involve great spiritual conflict in heaven as
well as great conflict on earth. Satan
and his angels will once again attempt to defeat God. Michael and his angels will do battle with
Satan and his angels. Satan will be defeated
and thrown down to earth and will no longer have access to heaven. That means he will no longer have the ability
to accuse God’s people. Because of this,
there is great rejoicing in heaven.
However, the expulsion of Satan from heaven causes his full wrath to
surface. He knows now that his time is
short and he takes out his wrath upon those who are on earth. The fall of Satan
might be the beginning of what is called the Great Tribulation or the second
half of the Tribulation.
I want to end this page of the blog by looking at Revelation 12:11, “And
they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony, and
they did not love their lives to the death.” Believers during the Tribulation overcome
Satan the same way you and I must overcome him.
We are to be freed from the power of Satan by the blood of the Lord
Jesus Christ. His blood washes us,
cleanses us from the sin we commit. Believing
in His death on the cross is forgiveness for every sin we have committed,
commit, and will commit. We must
recognize this and ask for forgiveness when we sin! That is not a license to sin but is ours to
claim when we do. Our testimony is our
daily lives reflecting that we are a new creation in Jesus Christ. So we willingly tell others what He has done
for us and live our lives in a way that others see a difference in us. This unwavering devotion to Him, even to
death, is the way for those Believers living in the Tribulation to overcome
Satan’s wrath. So it is with us right
now. Stay strong in the Lord!
