LEARNING DAILY
I am sending the blog to each person I believe is getting the blog
directly sent to them by the blog email service. I have been notified that it will no longer
be sending the blog out. If you are getting
the blog two times, just ignore one of them; I am not certain who is getting
the blog through the email service. If
you do not want to receive it, send me an email and I will take you off my
list. Also, you might see it in a
different format. If you want to look at
previous pages, click on a month and you should see those pages archived from
that month. You will find this easier to
respond to me regarding the blog; all you have to do is reply
Revelation 11:15, Then the seventh angel sounded, And there were loud
voices in heaven, saying “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms
of our Lord and His Christ, and He shall reign forever and forever!”
The seventh trumpet reveals the seven bowl or vile judgments upon the
earth. The verse in The Revelation
announces that the world has become the kingdom of Christ and He will reign
forever. In other words, the seventh
trumpet is the judgments or events that take away the kingdom of the Antichrist
and the Lord Jesus Christ gains it. Read
the next few verses; they are an announcement that the judgments are events the
martyrs asked for in Revelation 6 when they asked, ”How long, O Lord?”
Chapters 12-14 are parenthetical and do two things before the
Bowl Judgments are poured out. The first
thing they do is to give details about events that are happening in the middle
of the Tribulation. Secondly, they give
information about what is happening on earth that show why the Bowl Judgments
are necessary (Arnold H. Fruchenbaum).
You are going to have to read Revelation 12 for yourself. Please take the time to do so in order to
understand what I am explaining. Verses
1-12 give insight into the strategies that Satan will try in the final conflict
in heaven. David Jeremiah states that
the key players in this conflict are God, Satan, their angels and the humans who
carry out the conflict in heaven on earth.
The woman spoken of in verse 1 is not a real woman but Israel. Isaiah
66:6-9, describes Israel as a woman delivering a male child – the Lord Jesus Christ. The reference to the sun and moon and the
twelve stars refers to the twelve tribes of Israel.
The red dragon is Satan; in the ages past he was expelled from heaven
and he took one-third of the angels with him.
Notice he is ready to devour the Child; it has always been his purpose
to destroy Christ. He was unsuccessful
because of His resurrection and ascension into heaven. The Lord Jesus’ life is summarized here. He was born a male child, He was caught up to
God’s throne and He will rule with a rod of iron which refers to His second
coming.
The woman fled into the wilderness indicates the faithful
of Israel during the last half of the Tribulation. These are the God-fearing Jews who oppose the
religion of the Antichrist. These Jews
have accepted the truth about Jesus Christ as the Messiah, have received God’s
covering and help during the second half of the Tribulation, and Satan will not
be allowed to overcome them. Those who
do accept Satan’s religion will be judged and destroyed.
You and I need to
become serious about the study of God’s Word and walking the narrow way that
leads to God’s kingdom and eternal life.
No one knows the day or the hour that the trumpet sounds that will call
His people to meet the Lord on the clouds.
None of us wants to be left behind to walk through the days of the
tribulation. That is a great motivator
for me to do the very best I can to walk in obedience!
